Catherine Banner – Top Of The Class

August 26, 2007

img_0309.JPGNext year will see the worldwide publication of the much-awaited debut novel THE EYES OF A KING from wunderkind Catherine Banner – a novel which she has been writing since she was 14 and a half. Now the ripe old age of 18 Catherine (pictured here in London’s Covent Garden) has just completed her studies at school in Cambridge and has received three A’s in her A level results. The novel is the first part of an extraordinary young adult fantasy trilogy set partly in the UK and partly in Malonia, a fictional central European city and will be published in Canada, the US, the U.K, Italy and elsewhere. Catherine has already received exceptional amounts of publicity and a photograph of her by Emma Hardy resides in the permanent collection at the National Portrait Gallery. Contact Details – Film Rights – Jago Irwin (jirwin@pfd.co.uk), US – Zoe Pagnamenta (zpagnamenta@pfdny.com) , Translation – Tessa Girvan (tgirvan@ila-agency.co.uk), Anything else – Simon Trewin (strewin@pfd.co.uk)
